DMAR Inaugural | Post Event Recap

On Thursday, September 10, 2015 DMAR hosted its annual Inaugural.

Over 150 people attended the event, which took place at downtown Denver bar, Howl at the Moon.  The evening's theme, Together We Thrive, focused on celebrating DMAR's achievements and emphasized the importance of the association's members.  DMAR's newly elected Chairwoman of the Board, Laura Ruch, summed of the night's theme quite elegantly during her speech saying:

"As we embark on our fifth year as DMAR, I have to reflect on where we’ve been, where we are, and where we are going.  One prevailing theme has always been that Together We Thrive.  When we talk about ‘together’ I’m talking about the hat we wear together as REALTORS®.  Together we are able to facilitate change, together we are able to advocate on behalf of private property and homeowners’ rights, and together we are bigger than ourselves and are able to accomplish more than any one of us could on our own."

During the event, DMAR welcomed its new Board of Directors in addition to honoring three award recipients for REALTOR® of the Year, Affiliate of the Year, and the Oliver Frascona Lifetime Achievement Award.
