Amber Alvarado
A native to Colorado and lifelong resident of Douglas County, Amber joined DMAR in 2018 as a membership coordinator. Within just a few months, she was promoted to Executive Assistant to her mentor and then DMAR CEO, Ann Turner. In 2020 she was promoted again to her current role as Professional Standards & Leadership Services Manager. She now focuses her time assisting the Board of Directors and leadership team on meeting their goals as well as administering all professional standards services for DMAR.
Amber first joined the real estate industry as a broker associate in 2017 and soon realized the industry is full of incredible people who she wanted to be surrounded by. After a year as a broker associate, she was offered a position with DMAR and transitioned into the Association world. Amber’s favorite thing about working with Realtors®? "They’re real, they spend most of their days setting realistic expectations for their clients and that transcends into all aspects of their lives. They are no-nonsense, honest, hard-working people."
A mother of two young children, Amber enjoys spending her time off with her family in the beautiful open spaces of Douglas County, walking, hiking and catching crayfish (a favorite of her seven-year-old son). When she and her children aren’t out enjoying all that Colorado has to offer they can be found gardening, making music together, cuddling up to watch Netflix and spending time with the rest of their family.
