About the speakers: 

Kirby Johnson has been a CPA for over 25 years and began his career at Ernst & Young in Dallas, Texas.  After a two year stint in public accounting he spent the next 8 years working in industry with a focus on corporate international taxation.  For the past 15 years, Kirby has been back in public accounting focusing primarily on high net worth individuals, trusts and estates.  He joined CBIZ Seff in January 2015 and continues to focus in these practice areas. Kirby is a CPA and is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants as well as the Colorado Society of CPAs.  He has a BBA in Accounting from Texas A&M University and an MBA in Finance from Southern Methodist University.  In in his spare time, he enjoys volunteering at the Denver Dumb Friends League and spends time as a high school basketball official.

Mark Zeiden joined CBIZ Seff in 2013 as a senior tax manager and was promoted to Partner on January 1, 2016.  Prior to that, he served as a tax partner at AJ Robbins PC for 11 years. Mark has significant expertise in tax planning, structure and compliance for individuals and entities of all types. His experience includes work in tax research, tax planning, succession planning, mergers and acquisitions and client representation in front of the Internal Revenue Service. In addition to being a Certified Public Accountant, Mark earned a law degree from the University of Pittsburgh in 1994. He earned his Accounting degree at the Pennsylvania State University.  Mark is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants as well as the Colorado Society of CPAs. Mark currently serves as Treasurer for the Assisting Better Child Health & Development (ABCD) non-profit organization.
