The cost of a new home in metro Denver now averages $503,768, which contrasts with an average price of $398,663 for existing homes sold in April, according to the Denver Metro Association of REALTORS®.

Separately, the average price for a detached home hit $443,950, an increase of 10 percent over last year, while the average cost of a condo increased by 12 percent to $286,606, according to the latest data from the Denver Metro Association of REALTORS®.

Denver Real Estate Watch

The average prices of all homes sold in the Denver area in April is quickly approaching $400,000, according to the Denver Metro Association of Realtors in a report released today. The average price of all single-family homes and condos sold and closed last month was a record $398,663 10.2 percent higher than the $361,271 average price in April 2015, according to the DMAR report released this morning.
