The Denver Metro Expert (DME) Designation is DMAR’s newest exclusive member benefit, a hyper-local credential designed to recognize Realtors® who combine proven production with deep knowledge of the Denver Metro real estate landscape. Built specifically for this market, the DME elevates your credibility, sharpens your expertise and helps you stand out in a competitive and increasingly complex region.

 

What is the DME Designation?

The DME® Designation is a specialized credential available only to Realtor® members of the Denver Metro Association of Realtors®. It focuses on the real-world issues, regulations and market conditions that directly impact transactions across the Denver Metro Area. By completing a curated mix of required and elective education, paired with verified production, DME designees demonstrate advanced local expertise and a commitment to professional excellence.

Eligibility Requirements

To earn the Denver Metro Expert (DME) Designation, members must meet the following requirements:

  1. Be a Realtor® member in good standing with the Denver Metro Association of Realtors®.
  2. Submit proof of one of the following within the 24 months before application:
    1. 10 closed transactions, or
    2. $10 million in closed volume
  3. Complete 12 hours of qualifying education during the 2026 calendar year.
    1. Required Core Course (2 hours)
    2. Elective Courses (10 hours)
       

Cost

The Denver Metro Expert® Designation is free for DMAR members who complete all program requirements. A cancellation fee may apply if requirements are not fulfilled.
