Are You Educating Your Clients? | Guest Post

Nicole Rueth

The reality is that there are amazing opportunities to build wealth through real estate. One of the distinctive pieces to our approach at The Rueth Team is that we are focused on educating and helping others build wealth through real estate. Yes, we want buyers to get that home of their dreams, but we also want them to know the potential of that home and the potential for the future.

The key here is education. As experts in the real estate industry, it is our job to help educate our clients to understand the potential and how real estate can work for them. The average adult does not understand the ins and outs of investments and real estate. I know we’re preaching to the choir here because you know just how complex this industry can be. It’s important to take a step back, though, and remember this fact because education needs to be woven through every conversation we have with our clients.

We have the power to educate our clients on the potential for long term wealth. Yes, there are some markets where your investment improves greatly in a short period of time, but in real estate, we are often looking more long-term. We also are looking at how to set our future generations up for success. We’re even looking at what multiple properties can do for us and our financial health.

Make sure you have the right people on your team to help set ALL of your clients up for success and think through all of the angles when it comes to real estate and their financial future. Your mortgage partner should not be there simply to help your clients get a loan. They should be there to help your client understand this investment they are making and how to think smart about their long-term future.

Education is what we’re all about, so we encourage you to learn more over on our blog
