The event, held at the PPA event center, attracted many DMAR members including several community thought leaders.  The event was paneled by Tracey Wilson, CES®, Vice President of IPX1031®; Anthony Rael, Chair of DMAR's Market Trends Committee; and featured keynote speaker Paul Bishop, Vice President of Research for the NATIONAL ASSOCIATION OF REALTORS®.

While breakfast was served, attendees enjoyed presentations on recent trends in the Denver housing market, current market conditions, and factors driving the economy.  Speakers also offered  projected outlooks for 2016 and predictions for upcoming audiences, with a strong focus on millennials.

The highlight of the event was  Paul Bishop's presentation on Five Forces Driving the Real Estate Market, which broke down the current influencers of the Denver real estate economy into five key forces:

  1. The economy
  2. Interest rates
  3. Inventory
  4. Affordability
  5. First-time buyers
