RECAP: 27th Annual Spaghetti Luncheon + Silent Auction

On Thursday, October 2015, the West District hosted the 27th Annual Spaghetti Luncheon and Silent Auction.

Although there was a lighter turnout than in previous years (we blame the nasty weather!), we still had about 100 people in attendance. The traditional Italian food spread was great and included spaghetti, meatballs, and sausage.  Everything was delicious but we have to admit that Christine Malara’s from-scratch sauce really stole the show!

Thank you to everyone who attended the event and to those who participated in the Silent Auction.

With your support we were able to raise over $800 from the silent auction and along with ticket sales, made a total of $2,000 to be donated to the Seniors' Resource Center, a non-profit provider of information, services and advocacy for seniors in the Metro Denver area and surrounding communities, as well as The Action Center, which provides basic human needs and pathways to self-sufficiency for Jefferson County residents and the homeless.
