WHY: In this crazy market, a broker’s knowledge of the contracts is vital! To prevent future liability, a broker should know the contract inside and out, NOT JUST HOW TO FILL IN THE BLANKS! This course will give both new brokers as well as the most seasoned brokers a much better grasp of the contract and will help to break a lot of bad habits many brokers have!
Do you understand the danger you put your client into (or the risk YOU take) when you do the following:
- Put “Completed” into your Loan Application Deadline
- Have your seller provide a General Warranty Deed
- Not Provide EM WITH the contract
- Have your buyer offer or seller accept any offer with waived diligence
- Worked with a buyer on a rental property and used the Residential Contract
- The commission has stated that broker competency is one of the largest areas of concern…as an Associate Broker in this busy market or an Employing Broker with others working under you, are you willing to risk everything by not being as well versed as possible?
