Denver City Council Luncheon Hosted by the Government Affairs Committee

WHY: Join us for DMAR’s sixth annual Denver City Council Luncheon, an event that provides members with up-close and personal interaction with city council representatives. With over 7,000 members, it’s important that DMAR continues to build relationships with elected officials who protect the industry by promoting REALTOR® friendly policies. ​​We ​encourage ​our ​members ​to ​attend ​and ​share ​your ​thoughts ​with ​Council ​on ​key issues affecting your business.

 Special Note: All proceeds from this event will go directly to the REALTOR® Political Action Committee (RPAC). RPAC is a fund used to support REALTOR® friendly candidates and issues at the national, state and local level. The event cost is $30 (lunch included), which will go directly to RPAC as a contribution in your name.

NOTE: Contributions are not deductible for income tax purposes. Contributions to RPAC are voluntary and are used for political purposes. You may refuse to contribute without reprisal and the National Association of REALTORS® or any of its state associations or local boards will not favor or disfavor any member because of the amount contributed. 70% of each contribution is used by your state PAC to support state and local political candidates. Until your state PAC reaches its RPAC goal 30% is sent to National RPAC to support federal candidates and is charged against your limits under 2 U.S.C. 441a; after the state PAC reaches its RPAC goal it may elect to retain your entire contribution for use in supporting state and local candidates.
