About Our Speakers

David Donnelly, Manager of Education, Communication and Policy for the Colorado Division of Real Estate 

David has been a resident of the State of Colorado for more than twenty years. As an attorney licensed to practice in the State of Colorado, he is experienced in small business formation, operations, compliance, and contracts with over fifteen years as a private practice attorney and as in-house counsel for a large real estate brokerage with operations in four states. After starting as the HOA Information Officer for the Division of Real Estate, where he worked to provide education and information to residents and board members of Common Interest Communities, he was promoted to the Manager of the Education, Communications, and Policy Program.  In that role, he oversees the Division’s education programs, continuing education audits, and the HOA Information & Resource Center. David earned his Juris Doctor from the University of Denver-Sturm College of Law and he also holds a Bachelor of Science with a double major from the University of Wisconsin-Madison.  

 

Heidi Marshall, Sales Manager for Compass

Helping agents help people with what is possibly the largest purchase or sale of their lives is very dear to Heidi's heart. In an industry that can often be very competitive and stressful, creating an environment within an office that is collaborative, non-abrasive and high-integrity is the driving force to her role as a sales manager. She truly enjoy helping agents with their transactions and help them realize their full potential. Licensed since 2008 and also working with national builders prior to that, she has learned a lot in various market conditions and having different perspectives. Currently, her role is Sales Manager of their Broomfield office where she has the ability to guide and educate agents through their real estate career.
