WHY: This class will not make you a water expert, but it will teach you what you need to be aware of when selling property with water, water rights, and wells.
Course Topics Include
- Where Colorado gets its water from, the agreements Colorado has with downstream states, and the importance of protecting water quality.
- How to acquire a water right and the effect of federal water right claims on use and value of Colorado water rights.
- Practical knowledge that you can apply in your day-to-day sales activity.

An additional fee of $10.00 will be charged at the door for those not previously registered for the class.
Class Cancellation Policy:
A full refund or credit will be issued to the student if the class is canceled by the Association or if the student cancels registration three (3) business days in advance of the scheduled class. Cancellation less than 3 business days in advance will result in a 50% refund or credit of tuition. No credit or refund will be issued if a student fails to appear for the class and/or fails to cancel before the day of the class. Credits must be used within 90 days of issue.
