Join DMAR's YPN (Young Professionals Network) in helping those in need by collecting non-perishable items at your office to donate to the Food Bank of the Rockies.

Below you will find everything you need to know to join this year's Food Drive. Let's fight hunger and feed hope together!

 

What is THANKS(for)GIVING?

THANKS(for)GIVING is an annual food drive taking place between now and November 30th to collect food and donations for the Food Bank of the Rockies, which provides food for more than 411,000 people and works to distribute 121,000 meals a day. The Food Drive is also a friendly competition between participating offices.  This is your chance to help make a difference this holiday season & earn some bragging rights if your office collects the most donations. ( The top 3 offices will be featured on the DMAR website, on social media, in our newsletter, in our monthly emag and in a press release).

How Can My Office Participate? 

#1 Get ready!

  • Obtain a large box - card board or plastic works well - and display it in an area of your office where staff is likely to see it.  
  • Place a THANKS(for)GIVING flyer on the box - Get the flyer here.
  • Fill out the form below or CLICK HERE to get your office on the participating list + get the recognition you deserve. 

 

 

 

 

#2 Spread the word! 

  • Send an email to staff, letting them know how and where they can donate. Get the email here. 
  • Don't forget to invite staff, clients, friends, and family to donate as well.
  • Share updates and pics of donations as they come in using ‪#‎thanks4giving‬ on FacebookTwitter and Instagram.

#3  Collect and drop-off!

  • Collect non-perishable, non-expired food items as well as non-perishable and non-food items, including toiletries, diapers, and pet food.
  • Drop-off your donations to any of the DMAR locations - HQ, North or West - by November 30th. A DMAR staff person will help you unload and record your office’s donations. If you have a ton of boxes, we'll come pick it up :)

How Can I Participate (without an office)?

  • Individual donations are also welcome!
  • Just gather non-perishable, non-expired food items or non-perishable and non-food items (e.g toiletries, diapers, and pet food).
  • Drop-off your donations to any of the DMAR locations - HQNorth or West - by November 30th.
