Amy joined DMAR in February 2012 after relocating to Denver from her hometown of Casper, Wyoming. She began her career as Accounting Manager during a pivotal period following the merger of the Denver Board of Realtors®, the Jefferson County Association of Realtors® and the North Metro Denver Realtor® Association. In that role, Amy was instrumental in melding three distinct associations into a single, financially unified organization, laying the groundwork for the newly formed DMAR.

After setting down roots in Denver, Amy advanced through a series of leadership roles, progressing from Accounting Manager to Director of Finance and later to Director of Operations and Membership, with expanded oversight of staffing, human resources, facilities and membership operations. In July 2020, she was promoted to Chief Operations Officer, where she now oversees DMAR’s day-to-day operational functions, administrative services and human resources. During her tenure, Amy served on the Diversity Alliance Committee and was the lead staff member in establishing the DMAR Gives Foundation in partnership with the Colorado Association of Realtors®. She has received three Chair’s Distinguished Service Awards, earning the honor in 2019, 2022 and 2023.

Before joining DMAR, Amy served as Corporate Controller for Timberline Hospitalities, a Wyoming-owned and operated hospitality management company. She also worked as a tax accountant for Cordell Fonnesbeck, CPA, and began her career as a paraprofessional accountant with Fox & Company, a national accounting firm, after graduating from Casper College.

Deeply committed to social activism, Amy served as the Social Concerns Committee Food Bank Director for Our Savior’s Lutheran Church and as a member of the Board of Directors for the Community Action Partnership in Casper, Wyoming. In Denver, she has participated in the dinner committee for the annual Bear to Make a Difference Gala benefiting the Matthew Shepard Foundation. She is also a member of the Mama Bear Little Box of Rainbows Project, a private group that provides care packages and support to members of the LGBTQ+ community. Additionally, Amy serves on the Board of Directors as Treasurer for the Colorado Home Access for Disabilities (C.H.A.D.).

Amy and her husband, a native of Wales, are the proud parents of three adult children and grandparents to four grandchildren. Outside of work, she enjoys spending time with family and friends, diving into a good book or TV series, traveling and spending plenty of time with their Goldendoodle, Roscoe.
