A report from the Denver Metro Association of REALTORS® shows an increase in the number of news homes listed for sale in the metro area from May to June. According to the DMAR report, from May to June, more for sale signs popped up across the metro area. New listings increased 24.2 percent.

Denver Real Estate Watch

Active home listings in June rose 24.4 percent to 6,796 from 5,463 in May, according to a report released today by the Denver Metro Association of REALTORS®. That is six times the typical seasonal month-to-month percentage increase in listings in June from May.

The sale of homes priced at $1 million or more absolutely sizzled last month, according to reports from the Denver Metro Association of REALTORS®, Kentwood Real Estate and Coldwell Residential Brokerage. “The number of luxury market homes sold in June climbed with our summer temperatures,” noted Jill Schafer and Brigette Modglin, DMAR Market Trends Committee members.
