As Colorado’s housing market and communities continue to evolve, local leadership plays a key role in shaping policies and decisions that affect real estate professionals, homeowners, businesses and future housing opportunities.
Ahead of the November 3, 2026, election, DMAR is announcing its candidate and issue endorsements in Castle Rock, Denver, Douglas County and Parker.
DMAR’s 2026 Endorsements
Castle Rock
Denver
Douglas County
Parker
DMAR conducted a thorough, member-led vetting process for each candidate endorsement, including candidate interviews and detailed discussions on issues affecting our industry, our communities and the future of housing in Colorado. The process allows DMAR to hear directly from candidates about their priorities and perspectives on issues important to Realtors®, property owners and the communities they serve.
For the two ballot measures, DMAR supports a YES vote on Douglas County Ballot Issue 5A and Denver Issue 4A, both of which are mill levy override measures supporting local public schools. DMAR supports access to quality public schools, which play an integral role in building strong communities and are a major contributor to a healthy real estate market.
