Protecting Your Business Through Advocacy
Your Government Affairs Committee and DMAR’s government affairs staff are working hard to achieve meaningful results that protect property rights, promote sustainable homeownership and advance the real estate industry.
Recently, our efforts have contributed to:
- Successful changes to height and maximum square footage restrictions in Lakewood’s proposed zoning code
- Stronger engagement with city and county staff across multiple municipalities to position DMAR as a trusted resource on housing issues
As we head into the 2025 election season, our team will continue representing your voice before policymakers and supporting candidates who champion Realtors® and property rights.

RPAC Update: Why Your Voice Matters
What is RPAC? The Realtor® Political Action Committee (RPAC) is powered by voluntary contributions from members like you. RPAC supports candidates who understand real estate, homeownership and private property rights at the local, state and national levels.
In today’s political environment, Realtors® have two choices: Be players in the political process or become victims of it.
RPAC ensures that Realtors® have a seat at the table and a strong, united voice on the issues that affect your business and your clients.
So far this year, we’ve raised $76,655 toward our $226,081 goal, that’s 34% achieved! Your investment in RPAC strengthens DMAR’s advocacy efforts and supports candidates who are fighting for the real estate industry right here in the Denver Metro area.

DMAR’s Dancing with the Stars: Realtor® Edition
Our fan-favorite RPAC fundraiser is back and this year, we’re adding a country-western twist! Join us Tuesday, September 17th, from 5:30 PM to 10:00 PM at The Stillery and get ready for a high-energy evening featuring 10 dynamic dance duos (each pairing one Realtor® with one Industry Partner) competing for glory on the dance floor.
