What is an Appraisal Waiver? | Guest Post

When negotiating a quick close for your buyer or seller, an appraisal waiver can seal the deal. What is this, you ask. With an appraisal waiver, you’ll not only give your clients even more peace of mind (having removed a loan milestone), but speed up the process by eliminating the need for an in-home inspection. Plus, you'll save your clients a big expense.  There is also a huge benefit to the seller in that you will not be negotiating the sales price nor asking for any additional repairs due to conditions listed on the appraisal. Make sure to always ask if your client is eligible for an appraisal waiver.
