The DMAR Market Trends Committee examined how many sellers paid a concession in January of 2020. The average concession amount hasn’t significantly changed from previous years. What has changed is that more home sellers are agreeing to pay seller concessions.

Is the Cash Advantage Real? Yes!
When we look at November 2019 data, we see that on average, cash buyers saved 1.7% compared to conventional buyers and 2.6% compared to FHA buyers. Moral of the story? Sellers want cash.
