DMAR Raised Over $6,000 for LGBTQ+ Mental Health Outcomes
DMAR's Diversity Alliance Committee (DAC), in partnership with the LGBTQ+ Real Estate Alliance, kicked off Pride Month with a fundraiser for Envision:You, an organization that seeks to close gaps in behavioral health outcomes for LGBTQ+ individuals through co-created community programming, advocacy engagement, public awareness campaigns and evidence-based training.
We sold almost 200 tickets to last week’s Cosmic Drag Queen Bingo Fundraiser – making this one of our most successful fundraising events to date.
Not only did we have a GREAT turnout and an absolute BLAST playing bingo together, but most importantly, we raised over $6,000 for Envision:You. They are the ONLY statewide nonprofit organization solely dedicated to improving behavioral health outcomes for LGBTQ+ Coloradans living with mental health concerns and substance use disorders.
The money you all helped raise at this event will go a long way in making an impact and saving lives. We couldn’t have chosen a more worthy cause to help out, especially during Pride Month.
