Announcing the SentriLock Kickoff

After considerable research by our Electronic Lockbox Task Force, discussions with REALTOR® members and managing brokers, and weighing the pros and cons of two lockbox systems, the DMAR Board of Directors has decided to forgo a contract with a new vendor and will instead renew our current agreement with SentriLock. By providing one electronic lockbox system, we will remain unified with the other REALTOR® associations across the metro area, as well as the Pikes Peak Association and the northern Colorado associations. Our goal is to foster a collaborative community in our state, and keep the process of showing properties and doing business together as simple and as streamlined as possible. We believe the best way to do this is by using the same lockbox system as our neighboring associations.

We are in the process of entering into full reciprocity agreements with the Pikes Peak Association of REALTORS® and IRES. This will streamline the process for DMAR members to access listings with SentriLock boxes in Colorado Springs and the northern Colorado associations.

As part of a SentriLock kickoff, we are excited to announce that starting in May we will be providing FREE SentriLock lockboxes to all members in addition to waiving the first year of service. More information regarding these free lockboxes, in addition to training events, will be available soon. Please keep an eye on your email inbox.

We’d also like to extend a special thank you to Scott Grossman, Chairman of the Electronic Lockbox Task Force, as well as all of the members of the task force for their time, commitment and dedication to this project. They have worked tirelessly throughout this process and we would not have been able to make this decision without them.
