West District Committee 

Chairwoman: Barbara Ecker, Century 21 Golden West Realty 

Tell us about your experience in the real estate industry. 

I began practicing real estate in 2001. I am a native of Colorado and know many areas well, especially Golden, which is where my office is located. My passion is helping others and I love getting to know new people. 

Describe your role as the West District Chairwoman.

As the West District Chair, it's my responsibility to get the word out and help facilitate the sharing of information from our Association and Board of Directors to our membership, specifically in west metro Denver. In addition, my committee organizes networking events and provides professional development programming to REALTORS® and Industry Partners. 

Why did you choose to be a part of this committee? 

With DMAR being such a large Association, it's important to create a local presence for our membership. I wanted to help propel DMAR's mission but also create neighborhood pride and regional opportunities for REALTORS® focused on business in west metro Denver.
