SentriLock One Day Codes Update

Starting in September, SentriLock will not be authorizing showing services to give out day codes. Instead, showing services will send invitations for access to SentriConnect, a watered-down version of the SentriKey app that provides a single appointment’s access to a property. 

Starting in September, SentriLock will not be authorizing showing services to give out day codes. Instead, showing services will send invitations for access to SentriConnect, a free watered-down version of the SentriKey app that provides a single appointment’s access to a property. 

This is the step-by-step process: 

  1. The showing agent will request an appointment from the showing service.

  2. If it is a property with a SentriLock lockbox, the showing agent is sent an email asking them to download and register with SentriConnect, and they use that info to log into SentriConnect. 

  3. The showing agent goes to their appointment at their reserved time. They open their SentriConnect app, wake up the Bluetooth box by pressing the enter key and the app opens the box just like the SentriKey app does using Bluetooth connection. *For NXT boxes, instead of the app opening the key compartment, the showing agent will see a code on their screen and punch that into the keypad on the NXT box.

  4. The next time the showing agent has an appointment with a SentriLock box, they will receive a confirmation email from the showing service for their block of time and follow the steps above. 

Access is tied to the agent’s phone number and only they can use this access with their phone. There is no code sharing this way.
