Update Regarding Real Estate Showings in Broomfield

Phase two will begin May 9, at which time “Low Contact Personal Services” including real estate showings will be allowed.

Dear DMAR Members,

As a follow-up to our last email regarding guidelines for real estate showings in the City & County of Denver and Boulder County, we want to share another important update regarding the city of Broomfield.

The city recently released a three-phased approach as part of its “Blueprint for Reopening.” We are currently in phase one (April 27-May 8), which does not allow in-person showings to take place. Phase two will begin May 9, at which time “Low Contact Personal Services” including real estate showings will be allowed. You can read more about Broomfield’s “Blueprint for Reopening,” here.

As previously stated, real estate showings/closings may continue in the City & County of Denver so long as the provisions outlined by the city are followed. However, some homeowners associations, such as Windsor Gardens, which is a 55+ community, are asking REALTORS® to refrain from in-person showings. The health of our members and the community at-large, especially those who are considered to be at high-risk, is our top priority. We urge you to not only follow guidelines set in place by local and state authorities but also honor any special guidelines for private communities and HOA’s such as Windsor Gardens.
