The Denver Metro Association of REALTORS® is pleased to present its November 2017 election endorsements. Candidates/issues were carefully vetted and approved by DMAR’s Government Affairs Committee and Board of Directors. We encourage all DMAR members to SUPPORT the candidates below and OPPOSE Denver’s Green Roofs Initiative (I-300) which would increase the price of housing by mandating that new and existing buildings have vegetation and/or solar on their roof. While this is a noble initiative, a one-size-fits-all government mandate is not the answer. Read more...

The West District is looking for 25 volunteers who could help unload pumpkins that will be sold to raise money for Habitat for Humanity. Volunteers will need to be comfortable lifting small to large pumpkins during the two-hour time slot. Volunteer Here

► Now thru 10/31/17 | Winter Clothing Drive benefiting The Action Center hosted by the West District
The winter months are especially difficult for individuals facing homelessness. The Action Center’s mission is to provide an immediate response to basic human needs and promote pathways to self-sufficiency for Jefferson County residents and the homeless. Now through October 31st, the West District is collecting warm clothes and blankets in time for Denver's coldest months. Get Involved

Eat your heart out on Thursday, November 2nd during West District's 29th Annual Spaghetti Luncheon. West District's finest chefs will be serving pasta, sausage and peppers, salad, bread and homemade pizzelle for everyone to enjoy. Spaghetti Luncheon has a long tradition of bringing the community together where new friendships are made, old ones are cherished and everyone's diet goes out the window. Register Here

THANKS(for)GIVING is an annual fundraiser hosted by the Young Professionals Network (YPN) taking place now through November 17th to collect monetary donations for the Food Bank of the Rockies, which provides food for more than 411,000 people annually and works to distribute 131,000 meals a day. This is also a friendly competition between participating REALTOR® and Industry Partner offices... so you can help raise money for a great cause and earn bragging rights if your office raises the most money!
