Denver Metro Association of Realtors® (DMAR) - an organization comprised of over 6,000 real estate professionals and The Voice of Real Estate® in the Denver Metro area, today announced two exciting opportunities through its charitable foundation, DMAR Gives: a new round of housing-related grant applications and a special October matching gift campaign.
At its heart, DMAR Gives is about strengthening communities. Founded in January 2022 by the DMAR Board of Directors and the DMAR Gives Committee as part of the Colorado Association of Realtors® (CAR) Foundation, DMAR Gives strengthens DMAR’s mission to address housing challenges and create pathways to homeownership while supporting education and community engagement around housing stability.
From October 1-30, 2025, every dollar donated to DMAR Gives will be matched dollar-for-dollar by REcolorado, up to $15,000. That means together, donors and supporters can raise $30,000 to fund housing-related nonprofits across the Denver Metro area.
In addition, they have opened a new round of housing-related grant applications, which support housing-related programs in four key focus areas:
Funding requests are reviewed by the DMAR Gives Committee on a quarterly basis. Each application is evaluated based on available funds, budget, scale of impact, and alignment with the foundation’s mission and giving policy. Organizations that receive grants are required to submit a report confirming funds were used as intended and to provide measurable impact data. Grants are awarded for one year in duration.
Since its inception, DMAR Gives has provided support to programs that directly impact the community, including Family Tree, Colorado Build Together, Rocky Mountain Children’s Health Foundation, Crisis Center, and Rebuilding Together Colorado. In addition, funding through Lutheran Family Services Rocky Mountain supported a family displaced by the Marshall Fire.
“We know that stable housing is the foundation for thriving families and communities,” said Keri Duffy, Chair of the DMAR Gives Committee. “Through DMAR Gives, we are proud to support organizations that are not only providing shelter, but also creating pathways to long-term stability, offering relief in times of crisis, and educating Coloradans on the wealth-building power of homeownership.”
Applications are open until November 7th, 2025. To donate, apply for funding, or learn more about eligibility, please visit the DMAR Gives landing page or dmarealtors.com.
