2025 DMAR Gives Grant Recipients and Upcoming REcolorado Matching Campaign

DMAR is proud to announce the 2025 grant recipients of our charitable foundation, DMAR Gives, and an upcoming matching gift campaign in partnership with REcolorado.

DMAR is proud to announce the 2025 grant recipients of its charitable foundation, DMAR Gives.

Following final approval by the Colorado Association of Realtors® (CAR), the DMAR Gives Committee has awarded funding to three outstanding Colorado-based nonprofit organizations focused on housing-related support:

DMAR Gives was established in 2022 to support housing stability, disaster relief, and homeownership access across the Denver metro area. The foundation is housed within the CAR Foundation and advances DMAR’s mission to invest in local communities through tangible, housing-related impact.

Family Tree, a nonprofit that works alongside people affected by child abuse, domestic violence, and homelessness, has been selected as DMAR Gives’ premier grant recipient and official 2025 partner. The grant will go toward general operating support, with Family Tree committing to a robust year-long partnership.

“We don’t view this as just a financial contribution, we see it as a true engagement opportunity,” said Robert Ham, Director of Development at Family Tree. “Our work benefits greatly when partners like DMAR show up in person, attend events, and help us amplify our mission to stabilize families and break cycles of violence and homelessness.”

Rebuilding Together Colorado, another grant recipient, focuses on critical home repairs that allow people, especially older adults and low-income families, to safely age in place. Their Safe at Home program utilizes skilled volunteers to install comfort-height toilets, grab bars, and other accessibility tools. Their work also helps stabilize affordable housing by preserving residents’ greatest financial asset: their homes.

“This grant allows us to expand our impact,” said Jodie Liddy, Executive Director of Rebuilding Together Colorado. “Each year, 99% of the homeowners we serve say they feel safer and more secure in their homes. We’re excited to partner with DMAR again.”

In addition to these grants, DMAR Gives is excited to announce an upcoming matching gift campaign in partnership with REcolorado, Colorado’s largest MLS. This fall, REcolorado will match up to $15,000 in donations to DMAR Gives.

“We’re grateful for REcolorado’s ongoing support and thrilled about this opportunity to grow DMAR Gives’ impact,” said Keri Duffy, Chair of the DMAR Gives Committee. “With the matching gift campaign and hands-on member engagement, this year’s effort goes far beyond grantmaking: it’s about building lasting, collaborative relationships in our community.”

Details of the campaign, including official launch dates and how to contribute, will be shared in the coming weeks. The matching campaign will involve REcolorado leadership, DMAR Gives committee members, and representatives from Family Tree, and aims to drive community-wide engagement in housing-focused philanthropy.
